National Work Life Week
National Work Life Week is an opportunity for both employers and employees to focus on well-being at work and work-life balance. Employers could promote a positive workplace by providing activities for staff, thus to showcase their flexible working policies and practices.
During the pandemic, Work From Home became a new practice. When there is no clear line between professional and personal life, is work-life balance still work? According to UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, work-life integration is “an approach that creates more synergies between all areas that define ‘life’: work, home/family, community, personal well-being, and health.” Instead of trying to balance work and life, we focus on integrating work into our lives. Recognizing our strengths and values, learn how to set priorities, properly coordinate the schedules and responsibilities to experience satisfaction in all areas of life.
To build an engaged and motivated workforce, employers could arrange the relevant courses or programmes to provide comprehensive caring to the employees.
